a little about me...

Hello, I'm Kelli.  I'm a graphic designer, printmaker, mixed media artist, and sometimes-book-maker. I enjoy teaching art and craft-making to children, although I am doing much less of that these days.  Only recently have I begun to commit to my artmaking full-time, and with the love and support of my family, I have launched into a new chapter of artistic life.

My art journey changed course a little more than a year ago, when my husband and I decided to swap our house in the suburbs for a townhouse in the city.  I became a member of Shepherd & Maudsleigh Studio, in Newton, Massachusetts, and am currently working to build my portfolio and CV. Having always been an artist but not brave enough to call myself one, it has taken me years to find the confidence to make work in a professional capacity. This site will house some of this work, and I plan to blog periodically about my journey.
